Mr. Albers has over two decades of experience in the healthcare environment both in the private and public (government) sectors.

Prior to joining Medequip International, Ed spent 11 years as the Senior Project Equipment Manager for a chain of proprietary healthcare facilities.

While in this position, Mr. Albers was responsible for the management of equipment and building systems related to new construction and renovation for 26 Acute Care hospitals and 102 Behavioral Health facilities. His responsibilities included defining the scope of the new construction projects and developing the associated equipment budgets. Working closely with the architects developing and submitting equipment specifications for all building systems and architecturally significant equipment, he led the coordination and communication aspects of the project.
